Hi All!

Here is why you have not heard any new news from Edie.

Edie's phone and her computer crashed on Friday. One thing she can be sure of and that God's connection does not crash. Being connected is important to her. She would appreciate it if all of you could call her or text her with your phone numbers once again. Your faithfulness and encouraging notes mean so much to her.

Health up-date:

The past few days Edie has been dealing with high fevers and stomach pain. It seems that this is a part of this process she will have to endure. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me". This is true for Edie as well.

Thank you and God Bless,

Edie's mom

"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence,so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:16
We pray for pains and fevers to subside. Thank you,God,for such a place as U of Penn for you to receive expert care,Edie. But thank you most of all,God, that you are the ultimate Healer.

Dear Edie,

Kathy (Koslowsky) called me a couple of weeks ago to tell me about your illness. While I was sorry to hear of your struggle it is always a blessing to connect with you girls. I have such fond memories of our times together and more importantly of your growth in Christ early in your journey with the Lord. I am confident that God will sustain you by His grace and by that persistent, energetic spirit that He has blessed you with! I have been praying for you and yours continually since I heard of your need. I am hoping to come see you on Friday. If you know that for some reason that will not be a good day for you, please let me know.

Lots of love & prayers,

Cindy Lear

Hi Edie,

Your confidence in the Lord is truly a testimony to those around you, and has even been a spring board for me to share my faith w/some friends. Love, Dawn

Dear Edie~
Hey girlfriend, we are all praying fervently for you and your precious family!!! Your testimony through this has been such an incredible example to all those who come in contact with you. The middle school students have been so blessed to have such a godly (and extremely cool) leader. God knows every detail, and He has plans for you-for a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. Hang in there!! Hugs, Robin Y. & family

Hey Edie,

I sent you an e-mail but I know you have been having computer problems... you know I am a computer guy so if there is anything I can do to help you please have someone contact me! I'll e-mail Christine B. and let her know too.

We are praying for you of course, and it always sounds strange to say and only God knows how difficult this is, but I pray you are "rejoicing in your trials" right now and sucking every bit of God's blessing from it. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for you! Now get some sleep! ;-)

Edie:"I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strenghen you with power through His Spirit to your inner being" Eph 3:16 When we are lost for words God's Word is prefect. Praying for that inner strenght, grace peace and encouragement that only God can give.
Hugs and more hugs
