Biopsy Results and a plan

Edie got the results back from the Bone Marrow Biopsy and there are some small victories to be celebrated. There was no cancer in the sample that they took!! This means that once the fevers and pain are gone she can head home and recoup there for two weeks before the next round of chemo. Edie has started a regimen of continuous pain and fever reducing meds to help gain control. (She had been trying to tuff it out - that's our Edie.)

She is looking forward to being at home, in a comfy bed. When I spoke with her she was quite upbeat and was happy to report that she had been able to play the guitar for a little while today. (Thanks Paulie D.!!)

Another THANK YOU goes out to another division of Commerce Bank. Edie wants to thank the Commerce Online group for their love, prayers and generous gift. She worked with this group 2 years ago when she was doing day work and still see some of them when she leaving her shift.

Respectfully - Faith

"How can I keep from singing Your praise;how can I ever say enough, how amazing is your love; How can I keep from shouting Your name, I know I am loved by the King and it makes my heart want to sing."
Praising God for small and big victories, Edie. Praying for pain and fever to go down.

Hi Edie! Just wanted you to know that we are all praying for you. You are an amazing woman and truly an inspiration to so many. What wonderful news about the biopsy! We will continue to pray that your fevers and pain subside and that you will quickly be able to return home. Nothing is better than being in your own bed!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Much love, Betty Ann German

Edie,
We are praising God for the test results! We were so excited to hear some positive news! We are fervently praying that the fevers and pain subside and that you can back home for a bit! How great that will be! Sounds like the kids are having a great time in West Virginia - working hard and having fun together, but it will be good to have them back in NJ again!
We want to come see you when Corey is back home, so keep us posted on how you're feeling and where you are when you can!
Love from all of us,
Tammy, John, Lauren, Corey and Kira

Edie,
Well, that is good news. We are all praying for you. I am headed to the mountains on vacation. Where we are headed is called God's Country. My mom tells the kids the stars are brighter because we are closer. Well, if that is true than we must be closer to God when we are there. We will be praying for you and your family. Keep the good news coming. Keep your chin up!!!
God Bless You and Your Family!!!
Love,
Selb Family
